SARJAK... ODC Carrier
of the 21th Century
In Hindu mythology, the story goes...
Once Lord Krishna saw the people of Brindavan preparing for their annual offering to “Lord Indra-The God of Rain.” However, he persuaded them not to pray or offer sacrifices to Lord Indra, but instead worship Mount Govardhan, which was the true giver of rain.
The farmers, convinced by Lord Krishna, did not proceed with the special offering for Lord Indra. Instead, they worshiped Mount Govardhan. This angered Lord Indra, who then invoked an army of dark clouds to appear in the sky to flood Brindavan with heavy rains, lasting for seven days and seven nights.
To save Brindavan from these torrential rains, Lord Krishna lifted the Huge & Bulky Mount Govardhan on his little finger and held it up as a protective umbrella over all the people and cattle of Brindavan.
